Urgent Accommodation Options – How can we Help?

At Disability Housing, our specialty is linking people with housing that is better for them.  In the current COVID-19 circumstances, we understand that housing has become a huge focus for many people.  

• Those that are in hospitals, but ready for discharge to a suitable home.  
• Those that are in unsuitable group homes, that would prefer to live alone with supports.
• Those that are at home with elderly parents, wanting to fly the coup and grow their independence.

In addition to our normal request for housing support and as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are working with individuals, support co-ordinators, NDIS nurse navigators and other support workers to ensure all individuals are able to exercise safe practices around isolation and removal from high-risk areas such as hospitals, large share accommodation environments or other unsuitable environments.
