As you are no doubt aware, the world as we know it is changing almost on a daily basis as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are all taking measures to ensure our safety, that of our families and those we work with.

Disability Housing Australia are working closely with the NDIS and providers to assist in transitioning NDIS participants from high-risk environments such as hospitals and aged care facilities or inappropriate group housing to safe & secure accommodation that fulfills individual self isolation needs and requirements.

We have recently worked with multiple hospitals to transition high-risk participants into NDIS SDA, MTA & STA accommodation and we are currently working with hospitals across Queensland to do the same.

We wanted to reach out to you all as Housing Providers & Housing Seekers to recommend that you update any accommodation advertising you currently on the www.disabilityhousing.com.au by loggin into your dashboard and ensuring all the details are accurate and the availability is up to date.

You can now tag your vacancy as Short or Medium Term Accommodation, to make it visible for those looking for an immediate solution.

By keeping these up to date we will be able to liaise with the NDIS SDA Team and direct any relevant enquiries to you to review and action.

Whether your accommodation is a SIL vacancy, a private rental, an SDA vacancy, or a property you’d consider Medium or Short Term Accommodation funding for, we want to be able to link you with tenants in need.
