HEALTH VS NDIS – a review

As the dust from the rollout of the NDIS accross the country settles, some massive and immediate reforms are starting to come through. The COAG Disability Reform Council met recently and a decision was made the Health-related supports WILL now be covered under the NDIS.

If a support is deemed as regular part of the participants life, and is required as a result of the disability, it may be deemed ‘health-related’ and therefore covered in the NDIS plan.

This funding can be accessed from as early as 1 October 2019.
