Meet Brock
Introducing Brock, our SDA Housing Intake Coordinator!
Brock is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science at Griffith University, specialising in software development. Before his studies, he studied a Bachelor of Accident Forensics in Rockhampton, where he gained valuable insights into safety and developed a fresh perspective. Seeking new opportunities, he made the move to the Gold Coast a year ago, accumulating experience in diverse industries such as real estate, disability, sales, construction, and hospitality.
Joining Disability Housing Australia has been a turning point for Brock. It has allowed him to embrace new challenges, find personal fulfillment in making a positive impact on others’ lives, and foster professional growth alongside his university journey.
In his role as a Housing Intake Coordinator, Brock has the privilege of engaging with NDIS participants and providing crucial guidance and support during their most stressful times. His main responsibility involves assisting individuals through the SDA application process, ensuring a seamless and meaningful experience for them. By facilitating their access to suitable housing options, Brock aims to enhance their quality of life and overall well-being.
Being a part of this organisation goes beyond traditional professional growth for Brock. It provides him with a platform to continuously expand his skill set, acquire new knowledge, and develop into a well-rounded professional. He takes immense pride in being a valued member of a team that empowers him to positively impact the lives of others while facilitating meaningful connections. The fulfilling experiences he encounters daily remind him of the tangible difference he can make in the lives of individuals who rely on their services.
