About NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Specialist Disability Accommodation  funding is  a ‘bricks and mortar’ funding for housing to suit specific needs, funded by the NDIS in Australia.

 The NDIS has particular rules (based on eligibility criteria) in order to determine who needs SDA funding.  These rules are based around what kind of support needs you may have, the kind of home you can live in, and what supports are in your NDIS plan. 

To be considered for an SDA home or unit, you will need to have SDA funding in your plan already, OR be ‘likely’ to achieve SDA funding in your plan once assessed.
